Since inception, Certus Seeds has incubated and invested in seed research to offer better produce with lesser input cost. As responsible organization, we have also established a high performing supply chain for seed production, processing, packaging and quality assurance so as to deliver the seed to the grower with highest standards of purity and vitality.
Certus Seeds has its own research farms strategically located at Multan, Okara and Sheikhupura where variety selection, multiplication and breeding processes are carried out through 11 highly qualified and experienced breeders who continually explore, study, and conduct researches for commercial viability and assessment.
We also have a processing and storage facility spread over 1.5 acres in Multan that helps maintain continuous supply of quality seeds. R&D has been departmentalized on the basis of functional requirement; one group entirely works on discovering matching solutions for current and upcoming concerns while the other group works on testing, introduction and development of the new brands. We have developed stringent SOPs for introduction of new brands both for local and imported verities which have helped us set new standards of quality control at every stage of the launch process. We also employ a group of agronomists as technical staffs, who act as the extension service technicians in transferring cultivation technology to farmers to help improve their productivity levels. Moreover, it has a sound Market Development team that rigorously works to maximize the reach of seed portfolio and to generate demand at growers level that could further be fulfilled by sales teams of Certus Seeds and other sister companies as well.
